His documentary Ecos de la masía, about the gypsies in Barcelona, was transmitted by Barcelona Televisión (BTV). He graduated in 2005 with a master's degree in documentary filmmaking from Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. From 2002 to 2005 he studied film direction and photography at Escuela de Cinematografía de Cataluña. In Puerto Rico, he photographed for the DOCTV Iberoamérica documentary Isla chatarra. He also directed and photographed the one-hour long TV documentary, La nueva escuela, for the documentary program Zona Franca aired on TUTV public television. He has directed photography for two other documentaries for Zona Franca: Otro mundo es posible and La motora roja tiene que aparecer. He currently works as freelance camera operator, while helps in the development of his next two documentary projects: Filiberto and Destierro.
His documentary Aljuriya was awarded the Best National Documentary at the San Juan Cinemafest and a jury mention at the Festival de los Tres Continentes in Venezuela in 2005. He has worked in the production of several documentaries in Puerto Rico and Cuba. He graduated from Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión de Cuba in 2005, majoring in production. He is also co-founder and director of Proyecto Chiringa, a not-for-profit documentary production house. Recently, concluded the ten minute documentary Secessionism, for the decalogue 10 en la música which will be launched during 2008.
Since 2001 he has acted alternately as editor, cameraman, and director for the Geoambiente, a local TV environmental documentary program. Among his last projects are the documentaries Aljuriya, 30,000 and the feature film El Clown. He has won an Emmy, for his role as director and editor of Agricultura Orgánica for Geoambiente, and a Latin Grammy as director of the best musical video Atrevete-te-te. Currently, he divides his time as director of music videos and as a professional editor.
